SEMICONDUCTOR & ASSEMBLY SOLUTIONS (SAS)

Job Purpose:


In this role, you will co-ordinate internally and externally with customers, colleagues, and departments, to ensure the smooth and effective processing of the Customer Service Department's daily activities, and efficient processing of customer orders and deliveries.


Responsibilities:


  • Build customer relationships and manage customer expectations in accordance with customer policy and procedures.
  • Liaise with external freight providers to resolve delivery queries, including late orders, missing product, ETA's, damages and collection requests.
  • Data processing via ERP system/Excel spreadsheets.
  • Log, monitor and progress all customer complaints ensuring issues are resolved in accordance with company policy and procedure. Responding efficiency to discrepancies on deliveries, providing PODs and processing of freight insurance claims/credit notes.
  • Process all sales orders via ERP system, ensuring relevant works orders and purchase orders are in place and manage efficient allocation of stock. Updating warehouse on available stock for picking and despatch in a timely manner. In turn ensuring warehouse has all information required to process customer picks accurately and efficiently.
  • Process customer invoices via ERP system, ensuring they are issued in accordance to customer instructions.
  • Have a clear understanding of the export processes to be able to support and work with Export Logistics Co-Ordinator providing assistance with administration, communication, preparation of export documentation, quotation requests and status updates of all exports and imports, as required.
  • Work closely with Deputy Customer Service Manager and Head of Customer Service and Fulfilment, to ensure due dates for customers are achieved in line with company KPIs.

Requirements & Qualifications:


  • Educated to GCSE Grade 4 in Maths & English or equivalent or through proven experience.

Skills:


  • Good knowledge and experience of creating and issuing export documentation such as EUR1 forms, Dangerous Goods Notes and Certificates of Conformity/Analysis.
  • IT literate and proficient in Microsoft Excel.
