Nursery / Reception (EYFS / Early Years) Teaching Assistant Early years (3-4 years old) Teaching Assistant

  • Engaging in teaching phonics, reading and writing and spelling,
  • Supporting mild Special Educational Needs (Training will be provided in this scenario)
  • Providing support to teachers
  • Managing classroom environments and ensuring they are ready for activities
  • Underpinning the social, emotional and physical development of pupils.
Nursery / Reception (EYFS / Early Years) Teaching Assistant -
Person Specification

  • The school are specifically looking for someone with a creative nature who can use this to excite and inspire the pupils,
  • Have graduated University with a strong grade,
  • Passionate and enthusiastic about education and their career in this sector,
  • Level 2 or 3 Health & Social Care Qualification is ideal
  • Understanding of the EYFS Curriculum
