As a leader in Home Healthcare, Air Liquide takes care of 1,300,000 patients at home in 35 countries whose treatment for chronic diseases requires the use of medical equipment for respiratory assistance, infusion therapy and nutritional assistance.


Its multi-disciplinary teams (pharmacists, nurses, nutritionists) aim to improve patient's autonomy, adherence to treatment, clinical outcomes and quality of life through cost-efficient offers combining added-value services and innovative technology.


How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?:

As a Graduate Data Protection Officer at Air Liquide Healthcare, you'll play a pivotal role in upholding our commitment to data protection and information security.

Reporting directly to the Head of SHEQ and Regulatory Affairs, you'll have the opportunity to work alongside seasoned professionals while honing your skills and expertise.


Your responsibilities will span from implementing internal information security procedures, to managing data protection incidents and advising on compliance matters.

You will drive awareness through training sessions and ensuring adherence to UK- GDPR and ISO 27001 standards.


Further responsibilities will include:


  • Devise and manage the implementation of Air Liquide Healthcare's internal information security and data protection procedures and policies
  • Driving information security governance and compliance with the UK-GDPR and ISO 2700
  • Raising awareness of these policies through training sessions
  • Managing all data protection incidents, including data breaches and handling complaints
  • Advising on all data protection matters across the business, including
  • Data Protection Impact Assessments
  • Data protection legislation, regulation, standards and guideline changes
  • Risk assessment on companies data processing operations
  • Data breaches and near misses
  • Privacy matters with employees, service users and third parties.
  • Facilitating with the writing, reviewing and approval of data protection agreements
  • Facilitating and responding to Subject Access Requests

You will also need:


  • Excellent organisational skills with a high attention to detail.
  • An analytical mindset with excellent problem solving skills.
  • An ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Any relevant training in Data Protection, ISO 27001 and/ or Auditing would be beneficial but not essential
  • No more than 3 years post graduate work experience
  • Excellent communication skills with an ability to present important information.
