Responsibilities:
- Producing monthly reports figures and statistics and support the financial controller with endtoend monthly management accounts
- Produce monthly accruals, prepayments and journals in support of month end accounts. Also, to support with year end processing
- Daily posting of bank statements and reconciliation of banks in line with cash management procedures
- Liaise with third parties including HMRC, auditors and stakeholders
- Prepare and submit quarterly VAT Returns
- Management of Purchase, sales and nominal ledgers
- Assist the sales and credit control teams to resolve customer queries
- Responsible for weekly payroll submissions and payments
- Assist with any other duties as required to support the business
Skills and experience required:
- Experience working as an Accounts assistant (3 years minimum)
- AAT Level 4 qualified or working towards it (Essential)
- Strong MS Office skills
- Excellent Attention to detail
- Good customer service skills
