**Available until October 2024 (in the first instance)

The role is available until October 2024 in the first instance, based in the LEAPS Team which is hosted at the University of Edinburgh.

LEAPS is a widening access to Higher Education Programme which covers the South East of Scotland. LEAPS works with 73 state secondary schools across 8 local authority areas.

We deliver the Scottish Funding Council's Schools for Higher Education Programme (SHEP) in the region as part of the National School's Programme, as well as working in partnership with university, college, and local authority partners in the area.


The Opportunity:


An exciting opportunity to work in widening participation within the LEAPS Team, providing organisational and administrative support in the first instance, alongside supporting delivery of the LEAPS programme across the South East of Scotland.

The post has a particular focus on supporting our information, advice and guidance (IAG) work with schools, alongside playing an important role supporting the Team as a whole.


Your skills and attributes for success:

  • Strong organisational and planning skills.
  • Experience of working with young people.
  • Experience of a range of administrative and organisational tasks across a varied programme.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and effectively manage competing demands. Effective team member who can also use initiative.
