Vision for Education are working closely with an outstanding SEND school in Cambridge to recruit for a Teaching Assistant to work with pupils in a small SEND class.


About the role:


Working in this SEND School as part of an established team, the desired Teaching Assistant will be working on a small group basis with pupils with SEND.

This part time Teaching Assistant role is long term and potentially permanent.

This large, 'Outstanding' SEND school, based in Cambridge are looking to appoint a passionate Teaching Assistant to work in a small, Key Stage 1 class on a part time basis.


Requirements:

To be considered for the role of Teaching Assistant you will:

  • To have good behaviour management skills
  • To have a passion for the progress of pupils
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications.

The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:


  • To hold an Enhanced DBS or be willing to process one
  • Previous experience working with children or young people

Key responsibilities:


As Teaching Assistant you will be responsible for:

  • To support the class teacher and pupils in your care
  • To work effectively as part of a team
