This is an ideal opportunity for someone has significant audit experience working within an accountancy practice and seeking to progress and personally develop in their audit career.

YOUR DEVELOPMENT IS THEIR PRIORITY

You will also have quarterly performance reviews to ensure you are developing in accordance with your own and the firms' expectations.

As you develop, you will gain the experience and responsibility to lead smaller audits. Beyond that, you should expect progression to be Assistant Manager, Manager and beyond.

YOUR NEW ROLE

As an Audit and Accounts Senior you will provide excellent service to a large range of corporate clients and business owners, of which 75% of the role will be working on statutory audits.

Your work will be based at clients' premises, with most of their clients being based in and around Lancashire and Greater Manchester.

Your remaining time will be spent on year end accounts preparation and ad hoc advisory projects.
You'll also have the opportunity to support the Corporate Finance team with live projects.

Core duties will include:

  • Effectively managing teams to deliver high quality, efficient audits.
  • Developing strong client relationships.
  • Training and developing less experienced members of the audit team
  • Take responsibility for smaller audits and reporting direct to the Audit Leader.

ABOUT YOU

  • Part Qualified in either ACCA or ACA.
  • Over 2 years' experience working in an accountancy practice.
  • Keen to play an active role in a dynamic team.
  • Willing to contribute to the success of the team and the firm.
  • Passionate about providing great client service.
  • Great communication skills.
  • Good at using your initiative and working under pressure.
  • Motivated and well organised.
