A multinational manufacturing company with locations on all four continents that supplies the top aerospace, defence, building, and construction industries in the globe.

On the basis of this growth, the company is looking for a Maintenance Manager to join them as part of their growth ambitions.

The company is currently undertaking considerable expansion throughout its Runcorn location due to a big inflow of demand amongkey customers.

Salary:
£50,000 - £70,000

The role

A Maintenance Manager, reporting into the head of Engineering,who will take responsibility for leading a team of 10, including Engineer's, planners and an administrator.

Essential:

Previous management experience within a setting of manufacturing
Demonstrated history of putting PPM (planned preventive maintenance) strategies into practise.
Must be proficient with computers, organised, selfdriven, pay close attention to detail, and be an effective communicator.

Responsibilities:

Forward thinking to improve the manufacturing plant.
Project management and participation in significant capital projects, as well as active participation in process innovations to lower costs and minimise downtime.
Have taken care of various pieces of heavy engineering machinery.

Desirable:

Working knowledge of Allen Bradley, ABB, and Rockwell Automation PLCs would be very desirable.
Although not required, experience working in a heavy engineering or automated paint spraying factory would be very desirable.
