Fluor is growing Our facilities operations and maintenance team is looking for a General Maintenance Technician. The selected applicant will support a variety of activities related to the continued operation of a mission-critical facility.

This is a permanent position working a flexible Monday through Friday dayshift.
Background checks are carried out as part of any conditional offer made, including (but not limited to & role dependant) education, professional registration, employment, references, passport verifications and Global Watchlist screening.
Must be authorized to work in the country where the position is located.

Basic Job Requirements

Participate in prejob briefings on risk assessments, hazard mitigation, and planned work activities.
Perform or assist in the performance of routine equipment maintenance activities, following documented work procedures.
Perform routine rounds to record the current state of facility equipment.
Support the staging and disposal of equipment and materials throughout the facility using carts or pallet jacks.
Perform access control activities with cleared or uncleared workers according to site security policies and procedures.
Performs cleaning of work areas as required.
Attends technical training as required.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

Must have, or be able to obtain and maintain, an active enhanced DV security clearance. This requires UK citizenship.
Must be authorized to work in the UK.
