Description

Shield Security Services (Yorkshire) Ltd are looking for a Control Centre operator to work in our Control Centre based in the Head office on Priory Park East in Hull.

The Control Centre is a 24/7 operation and is at the hub of all operational requirements for the business. Our clients include local Councils, The NHS and Industry within the Critical National Infrastructure. We also support local businesses across the education, retail, construction and distribution sectors amongst others.

An SIA CCTV licence
Excellent telephone manner and communication and interpersonal skills
A good attention to detail
Ability to work as a team player and to stay calm under pressure.
Ability to create concise and accurate reports for customers.
Operators must be able to manage and prioritise at busy periods.

The duties are varied and include but not limited to:

Monitoring CCTV alerts and escalating incidents.

Dealing with intruder alarm activations.

Creating incident reports and advising customers

Delegate the mobile team effectively to deal with incidents.

Manage key control within the control room.

Allocate shifts to officers throughout the region.

Professionally deal with customers.

Ensure all reporting procedures are followed.

Salary:
£10.00 per hour
