About Our Client:


The
Claims Advisor will work closely with the Executive, Leadership and Operational Management Teams, managing and responding to claims in line with set requirements.


This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced claims handler to make a positive difference to the Blaenau Gwent community.


The key responsibilities of the Claims Advisor:

  • Receive and review claims, assessing the level of coverage and determining the validity of the claim
  • Maintain accurate records of claims and related activities
  • Regular correspondence with legal representatives to support in achieving the objectives of the preaction protocol.
  • Oversee responses to compensation claims to ensure they are dealt with promptly.
  • Liaise with appointed Insurance Broker to seek guidance and support
  • Regular contact with claimants to keep them updated on the progress of their claims.
  • Participate in working groups to review processes for continuous improvement.

The Successful Applicant:


The successful Claims Advisor:


  • Experience working in claims handling or a related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and handle difficult situations with empathy and professionalism
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills, with the ability to manage a high volume of claims and prioritise tasks effectively
  • A commitment to providing exceptional customer service and working collaboratively with team members and clients
  • A willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic and fastpaced environment
