Our client is a prestigious digital agency in Newcastle Upon Tyne who offer and deliver complex software solutions to a large international client base.

They are seeking an experienced Information security officer to join their team to ensure security compliance across all aspects of the business.

Role & Responsibilities:

Management of Information Security compliance.
Review and develop all security related policies and procedures.
Regular internal and external auditing.
Security risk assessment.
Delivering security awareness training.
Following and contributing to business continuity & disaster recovery procedures.
Vulnerability management.
Incident response.
Proactively reviewing resources for potential risks and threats to the business, whilst working closely with the IT dept to ensure preventive measures are in place.
Investigating any nonconformance, and ensuring the correct procedures are being followed.
Hosting security sessions with crossfunctional teams.
Continuous review, and development of all security related policies and procedures.
