**Receptionist-
required for our brand-new luxury care home 'Selwood House' in Charlton Down, Dorchester, Dorset, Part of the Country Court Family.
Hours: 26.25 Average Hours per week (Week Hours over 3 days, Week 2 30 Hours over 4 days).

Selwood House Care Home is due to open at the beginning of September 2023 & will accommodate up to 84 residents, and will be equipped with state-of-the-art facilities to cater for various care needs.
Specialising in residential care, dementia care, and short-term respite care, Selwood House will provide a warm welcome as soon as you set foot through the door.
We are now looking for a Receptionist, to join us mid-August 2023, just before we open our doors to our 1st residents in September 2023.
We like to ensure everyone receives exceptional training, so your first 2 weeks induction will ensure you know all about your role, the team around you and the home.
We'll provide you with the right tools, information, and thorough training ready to deliver the very best care to our residents, this initial training will be Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
ABOUT THE RECEPTIONIST ROLE
Our receptionists are key in providing our colleagues with support in a multitude of areas including filing, maintaining personal records for both staff and Residents, answering the telephone, greeting new visitors to the Home, providing diary management assistance, clerical support and working with our activities team.
You will need to have acute attention to detail, excellent customer service & communication skills, be a real team player, adaptable, have excellent computer skills and knowledge, be positive and have the ability to build relationships easily with people from all walks of life.
ABOUT YOU
As the receptionist you will be the first person everyone meets in our luxury care home, so we are looking for someone with fantastic customer service and a warm, welcoming personality
- Previous experience as a receptionist or administration support.
- Experience in providing face to face customer service.
- Ability to meet deadlines as required & prioritise work.
- Ability to warmly and professionally communicate both verbally and in writing.
