Group Head of Finance

Leicester

c£55,000 p.a.

  • Are you a Senior Finance Manager/Deputy Head of Finance who would be keen to join a growing and forwardthinking Group?

  • Would you consider yourself to be experienced to a senior level with the ability to manage a small team and be hands on with the numbers?

The Company:

ER Recruitment are excited to be working with our client, WBR Group. They are a forward-thinking, tech-driven company who are the largest independent SSAS provider in the UK.

Role & Responsibilities of the Deputy Head of Finance:

  • Assist with the preparation of the monthly management accounts.
  • Lead the development of cloudbased finance platforms.
  • Assisting CFO with VAT returns and annual external audit.
  • Managing the organisation's portfolio of member fund investments.
  • Monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Petty cash and expenses management.
  • Assist with the budgeting process and reforecasting.
  • Monitoring of contracts and financial claims which may include foreign currency.
  • Managing affiliated company accounts
  • Manage the company pension scheme.

About You as the Deputy Head of Finance:

  • Qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA)
  • CIMA or AAT in addition is desirable.
  • Experience with Xero or similar Accounting Software.
  • Experience of management accounts production and budget preparation.
  • Experience managing a small finance team while being hands on.
  • Proven background creating and implementing more efficient processes in the finance department.
