Lecturer in Film and Screen Media:
Job description- The successful applicant will have a strong track record of publication of non-Western cinema and/or practice research outputs and will undertake research in line with the School's research strategy. The postholder will teach on the undergraduate Film Studies and Production pathway and in the MA in Film, and also contribute to School administration and outreach activities.- Have a PhD in Film/Screen Media.
- Have a record of recent publication of internationally excellent research and/or practice research outputs in Film/Screen Media appropriate to career stage.
- Demonstrable knowledge of the broader field of film, television and digital culture.
- Relevant teaching experience to at least degree level in any of the following areas:
- Global Cinemas
- Film and Digital Culture
- New Technologies in Film and Screen Media
- Cinema and Intermediality
- Film, Environmentalism and Eco-Criticism
- Experience of supervising postgraduate creative research projects in film and screen media.
