Teen-Works Care are looking to recruit a Night Child Care Worker to join the existing team in their Children's Home in Maghull.

The home is registered with Ofsted to provide care for up to four young children/people who may have social, emotional and/or behavioural issues.

This post is for night work, the shift pattern being three nights on three nights off totaling an average of 37 hours per week.

Duties are largely around ensuring the young people feel safe and supported throughout the night, along with some household chores and ensuring the required paperwork is kept up to date.

The night officer does not work in isolation and is supported by a sleep in member of the day team.

Night staff are a valued part of the wider team and as such are offered the same level of training and supervision as the day staff, many of the night team choosing to move to days when the opportunity arises.

Due to the nature of the young people we look after, experience of working in a similar residential setting would be hugely beneficial as would experience of working nights.
