Description

RMS Recruitment are currently recruiting for HSE Co-Ordinator for our client
based in Evenwood, County Durham.
You will be responsible for the coordination of health and safety across multiple sites.

Main duties and responsibilities will include:

Provide technical safety and health support and information to all employees to ensure employees are operating in a safe, orderly, and clean environment
Coordinate and administer safety training initiatives for the company to ensure compliance with UK HSE regulations and company and customer policies and procedures
Coordinate/Undertake risk assessment and accident investigation activities
Identify, design and develop company health and safety management systems, training programs, and procedures as well as enforcing regulatory regulations and company policies
Work alongside operational teams to improve the working environment
Make recommendations on process and product safety features that will reduce employees' exposure to work hazards
Inspect facilities, machinery, and safety equipment to identify and correct potential hazards, and to ensure safety and environmental regulation compliance
Nebosh National General Certificate or equivalent

Computer literate

MS Applications
Driving Licence

Desirable but not essential:
Nebosh/IEMA environmental Qualification/Technical Member of IOSH
