We are looking for a Land Freight Customs Coordinator based in our Tilbrook site to work Monday - Friday rotating shift pattern, such as 7am to 4pm/10am to 7pm.
Also, they will maintain a centre of excellent customer service to the Customs & Logistics clientele of Yusen Logistics (UK) Ltd.

Key responsibilities:
Teamwork/ Creating Better Connections:

Customer engagement:

- Updating the customer with any delays with their shipments
- Ensure customers KPI's & SOP's are followed and maintained
Customs Activity Management & Compliance:
- Create Customs entries & Transits as per customer instructions and 2nd check entries as per the departmental KPI
- Cancellation and amendments of Customs entries & T1's, keeping the customer updated
- Provide support, help & assistance to the Customs department
- Ensure the T1 issue tracking sheet is updated accordingly
- Ensure all company procedures including Health and Safety are adhered to, including absence, performance, standards of behaviour, taking due consideration of company values
- Any escalations are reported to your Team Leader
KPIs reporting and management:
- Ensure high standards of operational service are always met
- Observe deadlines and SOP
Key requirements:
- Customs Procedures & Regulations / Freight Forwarding experience is desirable
- BTEC / or equivalent recognised qualification within the Customs International Industry would be a bonus
- Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
