Marshall Wolfe is proud to be supporting our client a fast growing data consultancy with their search for a Senior/Lead AWS Solution Architect to join their expanding team.

You will have the opportunity to make an impact on architecting and designing cloud-nativesolutions and serverless architecture, exploiting and recommending the latest tech with high-profile, enterprise clients.

Responsibilities:

As a Lead AWS Solutions Architect, you will need to build strong relationships with clients to get an understanding of their motivations and their needs behind projects and technical activities to ensure the business needs are fulfilled and business requirementsare translated into a solution (both functional and non-functional. You will also act as the technical authority and escalation point for AWS Technical issues and decisions.

You will exploit Serverless technologies in designing AWS solutions, such as Lambda,S3, Dynamo DB and API Gateway, maximising value to the clients.

You will work across teams working with Data Engineers, Data Architects and Data Scientists where needed as well as providing governance and oversight to the low-level implementation of projects, supporting DevOps engineers.

You will also assist in all aspectsof the engagement life cycle, supporting the Pre-Sales, Sales, and delievery functions of the business.

Also working with either Client or In-House Service Management teams in the handover after the transition of solutions from implementation and production.

Experience:

Proven AWS design, Implementation and support experience
Strong Agile Experience
In Depth Knowledge In:

AWS Network Services (AWS VPC, Subnetting, Security Groups and routing)

AWS Core Services (EC2, RDS, S3 and ElastiCache)

AWS Serverless Services (Lambda, API GW, SNS, SQS, and Dynamo DB)

Ability to create high quality Cloud Formation or Terraform scripts, proven ability to use the AWS CL and GIT/SVN

Strong Unix and Bash Knowledge

AWS Solution Architect Associate Certification and/or at least 3 year;s experience of AWS.

This role can be worked remotely however would require occaisonal travel to office locations in either London or Ipswich, Suffolk and occasionally Client sites.
