The Role

The Technical Support Team Leader (Serialisation) will be responsible for providing leadership of all Serialisation activities within Almac Pharma Services.

The post holder will be the Subject Matter Expert on Almac's serialisation systems and equipment; managing all technical development activity as per global industry regulation in delivery of new product introduction and/or client specifications.

Based in Craigavon, the role will support all Almac Pharma Services packaging sites and will work closely with the Operations, Technical Support, Quality, Business Development, and the Client Services teams.

The post holder must ensure that suitable procedures are developed and maintained for managing all aspects of the department, ensuring all tasks are completed in accordance with the principles of current Good Manufacturing Practice.

Essential Criteria

Third level qualification (or equivalent) preferably in a science, technical, business management or computerbased discipline
OR significant experience within a supervisory / technical management role
Previous experience working within an established Quality System (e.g. GMP, ISO)
Engagement with the end customer and routine client interaction
Project Management
Previous experience in a client facing role

Desirable Criteria
- (The following criteria may be applied if a large pool of applicants exists)_

Bachelor's degree preferably in a science, technical, business management or computerbased discipline
Knowledge of serialisation / track and trace regulations and the associated common standards (e.g. GS1)
Experience working with computerised control systems or ERP systems
Experience of system and equipment validation
Experience of secondary packaging processes
Management / supervisory experience
