Ensuring that the Dental Imaging System is integrated correctly into the Dental clinical workflow.Ensure compliance with our clinical governance framework.
First point of contact for any issues related to historical scans that have not been linked to patient's record correctly
Liaise with Dental nurses on the validation of unlinked images.
Champion service user of the dental systems.

The post holder will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operation of all dental imaging systems specifically related to Imaging and for their safe and efficient use.
They will assist in the planning and delivery of training to a range of Trust staff in the safe use of these complex systems.
The post holder will have a key role in assisting with various aspects of the PACS/VNA projects.
They will have exposure to strategic planning and implementation for developments of the systems in conjunction with local IT teams and third party suppliers.
From a managerial aspect the post holder is responsible to the Imaging Systems Manager.
There will be close liaison between the post holder and the dental service managers at RNENT & EDH as well as multiple sites across UCLH.
