We have a
fixed term contract opportunity to join our team as our next
Disaster Recovery Consultant.

This is a hands-on role where you'll be involved in the implementation of the Society's Disaster Recovery Risk Management Risk Framework across YBS, ensuring it is able to operate within the Society's risk appetite and employing a risk-based approach based on the Society's Important 'Critical' Business Services.

You'll ensure alignment to IT Technical recovery plans to ensure effective and timely recovery following a significant IT Incident/ Disaster Recovery scenario.

This is a hybrid role with remote working and some onsite presence in our central Leeds office. This is a fixed term contract to the end of 2023.

About the role

As
Disaster Recovery Consultant you'll be part of the development and delivery of the Society's Disaster Recovery programme aligned to the Operational Resilience Framework.

You will - Arrange DR tests and ensure our plans are kept up to date

Build collaborative working relationships across Operational Resilience, IT, Transformation and Third Party stakeholders
Support the delivery of a risk based DR test programme following completion of the Society's Strategic/ Operational BIA's/ Critical Service Maps (Critical Services)
Ensure that post test results are reported to the BC/ DR Forum and other Society Committees as necessary in a timely manner and that issues identified during testing are managed effectively to completion and resolution and DR risks are escalated via the RCSA process
Assist with the completion of DR training where required in conjunction with IT
Document and develop effective and fit for purpose DR plans and DR related documentation

About you

Have experience of DR priorities and translating these into operational and strategic plans
Have experience of implementation of ITDR frameworks
Evidence of professional learning and development to build and maintain skillset and expertise
Have a track record of working collaboratively
