As an Accounts Assistant in the Accounting to Report team of Finance Delivery, you will assist the Finance Analyst to account for UK&I Supply Chain, delivering accounting and reporting services to our Commercial Finance customers based in London, whilst embracing our culture of continuous improvement to ensure processes are efficient.

What you'll do:
Accounting for various elements across the supply chain process, including finished goods, components & smartcard costs

Assisting in the preparation of Supply Chain P&L and balance sheet packs, including basic commentary
Assisting the finance analyst in developing appropriate accounting treatments to support the continual growth of the supply chain.
Continuous improvement projects such as report automation and standardisation
Adhoc project work, as and when required
Assisting with internal and external audit queries

What you'll bring:

Numeracy and good organisational skills are essential for this role.
This would suit someone who is AAT qualified or an CIMA/ACCA studier.
Practical accounting experience is essential
General ledger experience or understanding of double entry bookkeeping including accruals/prepayments
Systems knowledge including excel & SAP or similar financial systems
