Applications are invited for an enthusiastic person who is patient and customer focused, to join our Radiology Team at Salford Royal Hospital as a Booking Office Co-ordinator to work 37.5 hours per week. Job share will be considered.
The post will be based at either Brook House, Middleton or Salford Royal Hospital. Training will be undertaken at Salford Royal Hospital.


You will be required to provide clerical support within a very busy department, and you must be hard working and flexible.

The Trust is committed to 7 day working which may be incorporated into this post.

Qualifications:

Essential criteria

  • NVQ2 clerical qualification or equivalent experience
Desirable criteria

  • ECDL
Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Essential criteria

  • Experience working in an office environment
  • Previous Clerical Experience
  • Ability to transfer information accurately
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
  • Good written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise own workload and work to tight deadlines
  • Ability to deal effectively with confrontational/challenging situations
  • Attention to detail
  • A good understanding of confidentiality and data protection
  • Experience of working in a customer care environment
Desirable criteria

  • Knowledge of CRIS, PAS, EPR
  • Experience of working with the public preferably working in a hospital environment
