Metalisare working with a specialist
Heavy Engineering Manufacturer as they look to fill a position in their ever growing
Design Department.This is a great opportunity for someone wanting to learn new skills and develop exsisting ones.


A Monday - Fridayrole paying up to
£35,000. You will be working on exsisting projects as well as taking on your own portfolio.


Daily Duties

  • Working to client briefs to create detailed design drawings.
  • Reviewing existing designs and making improvements where possible.
  • Using drawings to create BOM's for the purchasing team.
  • Working with various departments to ensure a smooth delivery of projects.
  • Reviewing colleagues' work.

About You

  • Must be able to use Inventor 3D design software.
  • Experience working with AutoCAD.
  • Knowledge of an engineering department.
  • Understanding of moving parts within a design such as gears and motors.
  • Confident on Microsoft packages.
  • Able to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Knowledge of different design suites such as Solid works, Creo and AutoDesk.
