Embedded Software Engineer
Fully Remote Flexibility
Salary - Flexible depending on experience £40,000 - £60,000

CPS are working with a leading Video Surveillance Tech Company who operate on a global scale with large blue chip companies across a wide range of sectors.

Due to continued growth and success they are looking to add an Embedded Software Engineer to support the delivery of scalable products to both niche and channel customers.

Key Responsibilities
Design and Develop software and systems relating to IP Video and Audio Technologies.
Maintain and develop custom Linux operating system for edge computing
Full life cycle software development with a focus on performance, security and reliability
Undertake unit and system testing on own software and work with Test Team to deliver.

Skills / experience:
Experience within a similar Embedded Software Development role either at a Junior or Mid Level
C++ Linux development
Object oriented design and methodologies.
Development of embedded systems in a Linux environment on Intel
Experience of developing and debugging Linux kernel drivers.

Knowledge of build systems:
make, cmake, yocto, buildgear and other build utilities preferred

Any knowledge or experience within the following would be an advantage but not essential; Nvidia embedded platforms, Intel media processing libraries, agile, networking protocols, Git.
