Allied Clinical Services Division covers a wide range of services including; pharmacy, Therapies (Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech and Language Therapy, Dietetics and Nutrition, Podiatry), Pathology, Mortuary, Imaging, Clinical Engineering, Outpatient Services, Phlebotomy, Oncology and Haematology.
Our services form part of most patient journeys through Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust and our teams are an integral part of the multidisciplinary care provided to our service users.
An opportunity has opened for a clinical governance facilitator to work with the governance manager toward continual improvement in patient safety and experience through a recognised governance framework.
The post holder will work with the Clinical Governance Manager in meeting the requirements of the Trust Clinical Governance Agenda.
In partnership with the professional leads to ensure that patient safety, quality of care and patient experience are of the highest possible standard.
The post holder will assist with the day to day management of divisional governance matters as directed by the Clinical Governance Manager.
The post holder will contribute to the governance meetings throughout the Division, supporting agendas, collecting data and sharing information within the teams.
- Provide a resource to clinical teams and managers in the submission of investigation reports of Clinical Incidents.
- Support the Divisional Clinical Governance Manager in patient safety investigations, complaint responses, sharing learning and collection of information for governance projects.
- Support change and learning process through feedback and monitoring action plans to ensure the maximum benefit to patient care.

Job Summary:
Accountable to the Divisional Governance Manager, ACS
Key Relationships
Heads of Professions, Senior Nurses and AHP's, Service Managers, Patient Safety Team, Patient Advocacy and Patient Complaints and Liaison Service (PALS) and Clinical Effectiveness teams.
