Kenect recruitment are recruiting a mobile mechanic for our client based in Mallusk.

Join an experienced team of mechanics and be responsible for carrying out routine maintenance and servicing on a wide range of heavy plant and machinery.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking for a varied role which offers onsite training and development.

What you'll do:

Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on plant and equipment.
Provide technical support to customers.
Fault diagnosis.
Customer onsite servicing and repairs across NI and ROI.
High level of customer service.
Ensure all jobs and service records are completed accurately and on time.
Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and ensure safe working practices are adhered to.

What you'll need:

Previous experience in the repair of plant and equipment.
Good all round mechanical skills.
Experience of working on diesel engines.
Full driving licence.
Strong attention to detail.
Able to work as part of a team.
Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills (gets the job done).
Knowledge of electrics, electronics and hydraulics would be advantageous.
A relevant mechanic qualification would be advantageous.

Hours of work: 7.30am - 5pm, Monday - Friday and Saturdays (paid at a premium rate) on a rotational basis from 7.45am pm.

Salary:
Starting at £35k based on a 42.5 hour week, plus generous overtime rates
