Description

The
Planner is a key central role within the Services Department, supporting relationship management with key stakeholders including the Clients, the Field Service Engineers, Contractors, Suppliers and other internal and external stakeholders.

A Maintenance Plan will need to be adhered to, with clear and prompt communication being provided to stakeholders at all times.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Creating and maintaining a maintenance plan that encompasses scheduled, unscheduled and additional maintenance activities, rectifying outcomes
  • Support the onboarding on new assets following commissioning stage, including any remedial works scheduling
  • Liaising with the respective internal teams and Contractors, ensuring all maintenance work complies to the schedules and meets company standards
  • Raising work orders, allocating and scheduling them, and ensuring they are completed as per contractual requirements
  • Optimize resources to reduce travel time and increase productivity
  • Continually evaluate the effectiveness of the work schedule and implement improvements
  • Working on the CMMS platform (Microsoft Dynamics D365) including management of cases, work orders, reports, and inventory
  • Working closely with Operations Team to ensure all outages or under performance are reacted to in a safe and timely manner to deploy the most appropriate resources
  • Providing support to the field service team with regards to travel arrangements, and organizing training and development
  • Responsible for the site access database to ensure that all details are controlled appropriately
  • Parts and spare parts management, dealing with demand planning
  • Inventory and logistics management, including warehousing
  • Sourcing materials, receiving quotes, raising purchase orders, and managing the finance system in line with budget
  • Liaising with subcontractors and suppliers
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Liaising with clients on a daytoday basis to support their ongoing requests
  • Such other duties and responsibilities as required to support the Service Delivery Team

Skills/Experience Required:


  • Previous experience in a similar level role
  • Basic understanding of contracts and service level agreements
  • Experience of liaising with subcontractors, negotiating and producing quotations
  • Excellent computer skills with a high degree of proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as CMMS
  • Experience of managing fieldbased teams for the completion of work on a timely basis
  • Basic working knowledge of H&S regulations

Desirable:


  • Experience in renewable energy (solar, battery, EV), although training can be given in this area
  • Health & Safety qualifications (e.g. IOSH Managing Safely, SMSTS)
  • Driven to succeed, focused, results and quality oriented

  • Ability to prioritise rapidly changing duties
  • The ability to achieve tight deadlines and work well under pressure

Salary:
£30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
