We are offering new hours of working, 2 days on 2 days off on a rolling schedule. Work only 14 days a month. Excellent pay, fixed salary.

Working area's will include Billingshurst, Pulborough, Storrington, Petworth and Midhurst

Working hours are 07:00 - 14:00 - 16:00 - 21:00

Duties:

• Provide care and support to people in their own homes, respecting their privacy and dignity. Maintain their independence and enhance their quality of life.
• Assist with all aspects of personal care and support for the elderly and people with disabilities.
• Assist with medication and ensure all information is recorded and records are maintained in accordance with West Sussex County Council framework.
• Assist with meal preparation, shopping and light domestic housework.
• Provide companionship for people with dementia. People with dementia may become confused and it is important to respect and assist with their emotional and physical wellbeing.
• All carers are allocated with either a care coordinator who work alongside all carers and are there for advice and support.

Requirements:

• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
• Be flexible in the area you work
• Use your own initiative and work independently as well as within a team.
• Be compassionate and understanding of other's needs.
• Own transport
• Good local knowledge
• Previous experience (Not essential)

Salary:
£19,000.00 per year
