Production Operative - Leicester, United Kingdom - ADDER Technology
Description
We are looking for a new, full-time permanent member of the manufacturing team with responsibility for activities from electromechanical assembly, programming and production test right through to packing of finished goods.
While we are looking for someone for our test area, we aspire to be a lean, flexible workforce so movement into other areas on a day-to-day basis as required is expected.
Key tasks will include:
- Assemble, program, test or pack in accordance with specifications ensuring you meet expected health, safety and quality standards. We are an ISO9001 registered organization.
- Taking ownership and responsibility for your quality of work and reporting any issues that you see.
- Logging time against jobs using our computerbased system and ensure work is completed within target times.
- Logging any nonconformance or interruptions to production in our issue tracking system.
- Taking part in our workplace organization program (6S) to maintain and improve the manufacturing working area, including organization and cleanliness.
- Taking part in Adder's continuous improvement program helping to constantly improve what we do and the efficiency of how we do it. This will include being part of lean improvement teams.

No formal qualifications are required but if you do have experience of working in a electromechanical manufacturing environment it would be advantageous.
