An exciting opportunity has arisen for a registered nurse to join the Transfusion Team as a Deputy Transfusion Practitioner at our Royal Bournemouth Hospital site for a fixed term basis of 18 months.

As part of the Transfusion Practitioner Team, you will be instrumental in developing and delivering transfusion training to staff involved in the process of transfusion, support the development and alignment of blood transfusion policies across UHD, provide transfusion related advice to support and facilitate high quality patient care, undertake high quality audit and ultimately promote and champion best practice across the organisation.

The successful applicant will be joining the department a very exciting time.

We are currently aligning our transfusion policies and procedures across UHD as well as enhancing our Haemonetics BloodTrack system with the implementation of new equipment.
