The role:

As a key member of the Capital Management team, this role will contribute to the delivery of the function's key objectives: - the development of tools and the performance of quantitative analysis - to aid strategic decision-making by the business, and - the provision of consultancy support - to determine the capital implications of new initiatives, and establish proposals to maximise capital efficiency.

Key accountabilities:

Provide informative MI and supporting analysis in respect of Available and required Capital
as required for management, regulators, rating agencies and other stakeholders.
Be responsible for the quarterly runs and analysis of relevant Rating Agency models (i.e. "S&P" and "AMBest")
sourcing inputs, owning calculation processes, and presenting outputs.
Assist in the delivery of relevant aspects of the Bermuda Monetary Authority ("BMA") Model requirements.
Develop and enhance tools
using Excel modelling outputs and/or other relevant tools
to facilitate the production and utilisation of the MI and modelling outputs noted above.
Assist on ad-hoc capital projects to support our strategic objectives
e.g. identify capital efficiencies, propose treatment for non-standard items, & respond to key stakeholder requests.
