Head of Execution Technology

London

120-150k Base + Bonus + Excellent Benefits

Our global brokerage client is looking for an experienced Head of IT Execution to build out a new execution technology stack.

Responsibilities will include:

Managing and overseeing the existing trading technology team, including daytoday trading support
Working with senior stakeholders to maintain and evolve a lowlatency execution pipeline, together with auxiliary services such as monitoring and analytics
Coordinating between Execution Technology, Algo developers, Compliance, Auditing, Risk & Operations, and Data Engineering & Analytics
Managing relationships with external trading technology vendors, including change management, contracts, performance KPIs, and any related regulatory compliance frameworks such as PSEE
Adhering to the agreed technology stack and practices of the organisation, and actively contributing to them
Focusing on quality, time, and budget constraints
Driving an agile culture

Experience required:

4 to 6 years' experience with maintaining and evolving low latency missioncritical equity trading systems
Experience coordinating complex projects across multiple teams with different stakeholders
Experience using appropriate tools for quality assurance
Experience with CI/CD
Experience with the FIX protocol
Degree in IT and businessrelated area (BSc, MSc)
Fluent in English
