Can you be the champion of communities and young people in our work to prevent serious violence?


We have an exciting opportunity for a Community & Young Person Involvement Officer to join Derbyshire's Serious Violence Partnership and Serious Violence Board.

We believe that we can respond and prevent and reduce serious violence in Derbyshire.

This can be achieved by providing strategic and operational leadership of the development and delivery of a community and young person's involvement strategy for the purpose of serious violence.


We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated individual who understands and champions the strength and capacity of communities and young people.


You will be committed to providing tangible, valuable and sustainable community and young person involvement opportunities with the aim of influencing and shaping the local response to serious violence.

Having experience in designing and implementing co-production strategies you will lead work to ensure communities and young people are at the heart of our planning, service design and delivery.


Using your ability to engage and collaborate with a diverse range of young people, community groups and organisations from different sectors you will also play a lead role in influencing the wider partnership to adopt effective co-production approaches.
