Role Summary:
To implement and manage Quality Management for the business embedding a continuous improvement culture.
To work on quality improvement projects that support a quality framework across the business to ensure quality assurance and the integration of contractcompliance with quality assurance measures.
Highlighted Responsibilities:
Internal Audits:
- Create schedule ensuring full coverage of clauses over 3 year cycle.
- Manage and support team of internal auditors, set schedule and chase for outstanding audits.
- Log any OFIs and NCRs, forward to relevant department and monitor actions for close out.
- Hold regular meetings to update on standards, review progress and recent audits.
- Prepare updates for Ops and 1/4ly safety board meetings.
KPIs:
- Calculate and report COPQ figures to the reporting international business unit.
- Attend NFTR analysis meeting to understand issues and root causes.
- Report NFTR KPIs and determine factory issues to report to business unit
- Prepare updates for Ops, biweekly quality call and monthly CL Quality call.
Logging of quality issues to be reported to the factories:
- Receive NCRs from field/dealers, log and forward to factory, chase feedback.
- Manage dealer complaints regarding product quality to close out timely.
Management and document control of IMS:
- Annual review of all Quality policies and process maps.
- Manage document control and version control by logging changes and authorising before publishing.
- Engage leadership to be responsible for their areas and keep up to date.
Completing accreditations:
- Manage information gathering from all departments to ensure full completion of CHAS / Constructionline / SIPP / SafeContractor.
- Keep documentation (insurances, certifications) up to date to avoid lapses.
BSI:
- Annual review of standards to ensure compliance.
- Prepare for and chair all BSI Quality audits
- Prepare action plan following any OFIs or NCRs and lead progress with relevant department manager.
- Prepare any action plans enforces by BSI following NCRs.
Meetings:
- Monthly Ops meetings
- Home Solutions & Access prepare slides to update on quality issues and KPIs.
- Biweekly Quality call with HQ provide feedback and support.
- Monthly CL Quality call with international colleague provide feedback through updating of CL Quality report and discuss ongoing / new product issues.
- Monthly Factory Update with HQ
- Bimonthly Quality Action Meeting with international quality colleagues prepare slides and commentary to review current performance.
- Weekly Quality call with HQ discuss ongoing issues / resolutions.
- Monthly Action Plan Meeting with international team discuss progress of ongoing actions / removals and additions to the plan.
Risk & Opportunities Register:
- Responsibility to own and initiate 6 monthly review, adding updates and managing version control
NPS:
- Ensure raw data is delivered on time for calls to be made.
- Review calls to monitor for quality.
- Monitor results and support NPS coordinator in close out of red alerts.
- Conduct site audits / safety walks as a member of the leadership team.
Other key tasks:
- Be aware of current complaints processes and results / KPIs
- Help and feedback on implementation of any dealer information / processes.
- Continuous improvement of KPI and NCR reporting.
- Regular discussions with Warranty Controller to ensure processes are followed by all departments.
- Constant engagement with technical teams to encourage maximum reporting of NCRs to drive quality calls with factories.
To be considered for this role you will have:
- Demonstrable working experience in a quality, business improvement or continuous improvement operating area is essential.
- Demonstrable experience of Site inspections and investigations, company preparation for Audits, Compliance and maintenance of relevant standards
- Experience of information provision to tender and submission process would be advantageous but not essential
- Demonstrable experience of nonconformance processes & procedures would be advantageous but not essential
- Knowledge and experience of ISO 9001 standards would be advantageous
- Although not essential a Knowledge of SharePoint to manage the QMS/IMS would be advantageous
