Description
Key Responisibilities
- SQL Database administration, including monitoring and DB capacity planning and problem tracking through to resolution.
- Ensuring resilient database design, secure source control and efficient & flexible ETL packages to ensure good practise methods for data management & storage
- Development of reports and MI data to meet the banks requirements.
- Assist in the feasibility and introduction of new DB tools and systems.
- Always ensure that good database practice is achieved across all projects.
- Ensuring the enforcement and maintenance of IT policies and procedures.
- Change management control.
Knowledge & Skills
- Experience in MS Azure technologies
- Development experience in any of the following.
- Visual Studio TFS
- Database and reporting, particularly SQL Server and SSRS, SSIS & SSAS
- Web services technologies
- SQL server DBA experience with both onpremises and Cloud
Beneficial knowledge & skills:
- Financial Software Systems
- Document Management
- SharePoint
- Exposure & experience of SAS, Power platform, Power BI
- HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap
