Job Title

  • Temporary Senior Securities Settlement & Reconciliation Officer
Location

  • City of London
Salary
- £220 per day
Contract Term - 6 Months (initially)

An opportunity has arisen for a Temporary Senior Securities Settlement & Reconciliation Officer, to join our client based in the City of London.


Your Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the quality and consistency of the structure for processing, monitoring and reconciling all aspects of the company's Corporate Actions.
  • Monitor, process and reconcile all transactions arising from Corporate actions and Dividends
  • Print off morning reports (EDI/SOCGEN/EUCLID)
  • Update or add all corporate action events printed off from the morning reports onto the Corporation Calendar
  • Take out all Corporate Actions events for today date on Calendar and action
  • Pay any dividends received via post and also posted to UDCAC
  • Pay any CFD dividends and check on Thursday MIS reports for any upcoming CFD dividends for the next 7 days.
  • Pay Soc Gen dividends on SG cash Rec
  • Produce the UDCAC Reconciliation
  • Update all Recs and monitor the break sheet
  • Knowledge and understanding of US QI tax system
  • Generate the daily Takeover Report
  • Maintain TCF culture
  • CASS proficiency essential

Your Profile:

  • Microsoft Office
  • Intermediate
  • Familiarity with CREST Settlements
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Euroclear system.
  • Knowledge and understanding of GMI desirable
  • GCSE/Alevel standard preferred but not essential
  • Previous experience of Equity and Derivatives Business environment
