We are looking for a Junior Planner to assist our Planning Director and Account Management team.

Working closely with our clients to research the market and understand the consumer, you will be responsible for developing the key strategic insights that underpin our creative ideas.


Must be able to demonstrate strong creative thinking, with the ability to turn insights from market data, qualitative research and product knowledge into useful problem solving insights for internal teams and clients throughout the journey of a campaign.

Be considered in your approach and offer strong communication skills that will assist you in providing the creative team with insightful briefs regarding both the product, audience and your own strategy.

Upon delivery of the campaign you will be able to interpret customer response and associated data, in order to gauge efficacy.


To be considered for this role you must demonstrate:

  • Degree qualification or relevant experience in Marketing / Advertising is desired
  • Inhouse or agency experience across multiple sectors
  • Proactive, happy to work both independently and collaboratively

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Interested in social trends, knowledgeable about our clients businesses and how strategy within advertising can contribute to their success.

Key responsibilities:


With support from the Planning Director, you should:

  • work with clients to fully understand their business objectives, target markets and communications strategy.
  • Analyse and extract findings from consumer, brand and market research to support the preparation of brand communication strategies and creative briefs.
  • Facilitate, observe and record qualitative research e.g. focus groups.
  • Administer the commission and project management of external research (quantitative and qualitative) conducted on behalf of the agency.
  • Support and champion the creative development process, including briefing and enthusing creative teams, and prepare feedback in response to consumer research findings.
  • Gather data and prepare feedback reports on the effectiveness of campaigns.
  • Keep uptodate with market research trends and methodologies and neurological studies.
  • Up to date with how behavioural economics, and any insight into how people think and behave, can shape advertising successfully
  • Maintain a detailed awareness of relevant market trends affecting their accounts, and developments in the wider advertising and communications industry.

From £30,000.00 per year
