This role is responsible for:

Monitoring, processing and reconciling all Fixed Income Corporate Action events.
Production, consolidation and distribution of daily Settlement and Middle Office Reconciliations.
Core Middle Office processes including trade amendments, the monitoring and update of reference data.
Oversight and escalation contact in the absence of the Settlements Manager.

General Support Responsibilities Include:

Manage Corporate Action events and ensure all postings & payments are processed in a timely fashion.
Coupon processing, Corporate event monitoring, tax processing/reclaim.
Proactively respond to Counterparty inquiries and requests on a daily basis.
Liaison with Sales and Relationship Managers on all counterparty issues.
Resolving all trade & settlement breaks.
Maintaining accurate trading records.
T+1 trade system reconciliation.
Position and Nostro reconciliations.
Oversight of offshore team to ensure daily compliance with all trade confirmation tasks.

Person Specification

Skills/Personal Requirements

Extensive knowledge of the Fixed Income Corporate Action/Coupon life cycles.
Strong understanding of the Fixed Income Market, including Central and Eastern Europe, & Asian markets along with DTC & Euroclear.
Excellent communication skills written and verbal.
Good knowledge of MS Excel.
Proficiency with Word & PowerPoint.
Ability to multitask.
Strong analytical skills and an ability to calmly comprehend and resolve complex problems.
Ability to work both independently and as a team member.
Knowledge of BNP Services as an agent would be an advantage.
Prior experience with Shadow Financial would be an advantage.
Knowledge of OMGEO CTM would be useful but not essential.
Previous experience working with an offshore team.
