Description

As Nights Porter, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, key to delivering a friendly and efficient service.

You will work as part of a team to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all our guests and ensure they have a great experience, whilst supporting management to ensure a smooth service throughout the hotel.

We need you to.

Ensure the minimum number of security checks are carried out on each shift, with emphasis on fire safety and the overall security of the building
Take responsibility for conducting the nighty audit to close the day's business and liaise with the accounts team to ensure accuracy
As nights porter, you and your team will cover all aspects of Reception, alongside bar service and room service
Be the main point of contact for all guests overnight, actioning any requests in an efficient and timely manner and dealing with any problems / resolving any complaints in a courteous and professional manner
Have hospitality 'eyes'spotting what our guest needs before they do
Have a positive, cando approach
Be flexible, working across all days of the week, including weekends and bank holidays
Have a keen eye for detail, delivering an exceptional level of service through a relaxed and professional approach
Encourage, set, and achieve the highest standards across all areas (customer service, hygiene, health & safety)
Keep the restaurant, lounge, reception and toilets clean and tidy
