FPSG, working exclusively with an established organisation, have an exceptional opportunity for a Solicitor to join our clients In-house Legal team.

Our client is based in the Edinburgh area, with this appointment having a hybrid workingpattern (2/3 split).

Position Summary

If you are looking for an Inhouse Solicitor role that offers variety across advisory, transactional & general legal counsel focussed services then this would be the role for you.
Our client, with an established legal team, are keen to appoint a Solicitor who will undertake a myriad of work across the above areas.
Examples of the type of work includes commercial contracts, adhoc employment matters, real estate work (acquisitions, disposals, planning etc), adhoc legal counselling to senior stakeholders within our client's organisation.
With such variety of work undertaken by this team, there may be periods where you are blending from one practice area to another; as such a keen interest to work out with what would be your own specialist area of expertise would be significantly beneficial

Required Background

Ideally, you will be a Solicitor or Senior Solicitor (minimum 34 years PQE however open to all levels) qualified in Scotland either currently working in Private Practice looking to make the move inhouse or currently be working within an Inhouse environment.
In addition to this, you will ideally have gained experience across one of the following practice areas during your career to date (Real Estate
Commercial or Residential, Commercial Contracts, IPTC or other related areas).
A strong team player focus is a must and a desire to join a supportive yet dynamic team.
