Are you looking for the next step in your healthcare career? Do you want to develop, work with people and really make a difference? Could this be the training opportunity and role you've been looking for?

Within NHS Tayside we are expanding opportunities for HealthCare Support Workers to develop and progress into the role of an Assistant Practitioner.

These are new, exciting and innovative roles supported with education and training from both the NHS Tayside Practice Development Team and Perth College.

Successful applicants will be supported to complete a Professional Development Award SCQF level 8 at Perth College.

As an Assistant Practitioner you will be working at the heart of our multidisciplinary teams delivering high quality, patient-centred care, supervised and reporting to a Registered Practitioner.

This will require you to be able to communicate effectively with a broad range of individuals, both verbally and in writing, to share our commitment to maintaining high standards in everything we do, and to demonstrate that you can work effectively within a team that behaves in accordance with our values.

We are seeking to recruit people who are committed to delivering outstanding patient care. You must work well in a high pressure environment and have the ability to adapt to changing situations.

Please note that these positions require the successful applicants to work a variety of day shifts, Monday to Friday.

Your initial induction program will be followed by a number of professional development opportunities, including clinical skills and ongoing comprehensive online learning hub.
