Head of Residential Sales

Location:
Marylebone


Salary:
£80,000 - £100,000 PA (dependent on experience)


Responsibilities:


  • Develop new business and handle own portfolio of clients to achieve or exceed agreed targets
  • Consistent high level of service to clients.
  • Consistently maintain a high standard of record keeping and communications to ensure accuracy in file management, communications, and compliance
  • Grow market share
  • Line management of sales team.
  • Update records and maximise the use of databases such as Reapit to ensure all applicant details are up to date and to source potential sale instructions.
  • Actively identify and develop new marketing and business development opportunities.
  • Work to a budget and drive business forward to grow income and profitability
  • Be a positive influence leading the team helping to maintain a mutually supportive and team orientated environment.
  • Understanding the functions of and communicating effectively with other divisions with regards to crossselling and other opportunities
  • Work closely with the wellestablished and successful lettings team to provide cross referrals

Marketing & BD Support:


  • An experienced national Business Development Team of five, all of whom have senior industry contacts across the UK, including institutions, developers, and the public sector.
  • International Affiliation with over 140 members in just under 50 countries
  • A national Research team headed by an experienced industry researcher.
  • In addition to the above resources there will be a marketing team that provides expertise in the following fields:
  • Graphic Design
  • Digital Marketing
  • Data Research and Analysis
  • Coordination of events and marketing collateral
  • The firm has membership of a wide range of industry bodies and access to their events, data, and contacts.

Person Specification:


  • A proven track record in prime central London
  • Experience winning super prime instructions
  • The ability to manage and build a successful team, maximising cross selling opportunities within the firm.
  • The ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent negotiating and presentational skills
  • The ability to multitask effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Sound team orientated interpersonal skills and experience of communicating effectively with both colleagues and clients.
  • Knowledge of relevant compliance legislation
  • Ability to operate with the highest standards of probity
  • Skilled in reporting on development performance
  • I.T literacy including experience in the use of residential software packages.
