Skills for Care has an exciting opportunity for a
National Practice Innovation Lead to join our Practice Innovation team.

This role provides the opportunity to make a real difference at a national level to support the strategic vision of the future workforce.

We know we need to do things differently with ever increasingly complex care, shaping new models of care and ways of working to enable people to live good lives, connected to their communities in a place they call home.


You will work with colleagues across the organisation and externally with a range of stakeholders such as government, sector bodies, individual employers, people who draw on care and support and care providers to plan, develop and deliver an agreed programme of multiple projects to support the future workforce vision, bringing social care practice specialism and expertise from across the breadth of social care.


You will be flexible and dynamic bringing thought leadership, creativity, and passion to drive new and emerging innovation into tangible action for strategic workforce change, ensuring the continued profile of Skills for Care as a workforce sector lead, supporting future workforce development, new models of care and strategic direction.
