Are you an experienced Waking Night support worker?

Are you dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of the most vulnerable members of our community?

If so, we want to hear from you

We are actively seeking compassionate and dedicated Waking Night support workers to work in Children's homes across South Wales.

You must have a minimum 6 months UK based experience in this field, know all processes and procedures in regards to looking after cared for young people.


As a member of our specialist teams, you can expect a range of benefits, including elevated pay rates surpassing local standards, support from a close-knit team, various payment options, and opportunities for skill development and advancement.


What does joining a specialist team entail? You'll have the chance to utilise your expertise and skills to support children and young people in crisis.

Essential responsibilities include engaging and encouraging participation in activities, maintaining accurate records, and prioritising the safety and well-being of those under your care.

Additionally, you must be a licensed driver with business insurance.


In the role of a support worker in children's homes, you will work directly with young individuals in a residential setting.

This requires confidence in managing heightened behaviours, employing de-escalation techniques, and making informed decisions during challenging situations. Strong communication skills, creativity in building trust, and a firm understanding of professional boundaries are also crucial.

Rates of Pay:
£17 - £18 waking night rate
