HRP has a strong pre and after sales support for an impressive portfolio of products. All products are available locally from a national network of 17 branches.

We have a vacancy for a Driver, based from our Walthamstow branch.

The Driver is expected to ensure customers receive a fast and efficient response to distribution enquiries, building customer loyalty and enhancing the company's reputation for service.

Your main duties will include:

Deliveries
Daily vehicle checks
Dealing with trade counter customers
Goods inwards, picking, packing, loading and offloading vehicles

The ideal Driver will hold the following skills and experiences:

Previous warehouse experience
Ability to operate a forklift truck is desirable, but not essential; training will be given
Familiarity with computerised despatch systems would be an advantage
You would need to enjoy working as part of a team
Effective communication skills

Due to the nature of the role, a full UK driving licence is required.

Your normal working hours will be based on a 42.5 hour working week, usually Monday to Friday.

You will be expected to work a daily 8.5 hour shift between the hours of 6am and 6pm on a flexible basis.

You will be required to participate in the out-of-hours call-out rota.

Benefits:

Salary £24,083 p.a.

Location allowance £3,600 p.a.

Annual holiday entitlement 25 days plus all public holidays
