An exciting development opportunity has arisen for a full time Senior Information Governance Officer with development opportunity.


You will report to the Information Governance Manager and be supported to work closely with our internal teams to deliver operational IG matters, e.g.

Information Sharing Agreements, DPIAs and policy reviews.


We are looking for a highly motivated, dynamic and self-motivated individual, who can work as part of a team and independently.


Working in a challenging environment, you will be faced with a variety of competing priorities that will require a flexible and imaginative approach, combined with excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills.


You will have experience of working with Information Governance and Data Protection and a proven track record of development and leading initiatives demonstrating your self-improvement.


The post-holder will be an enthusiastic individual with the skills and desire to develop a specialist knowledge and understanding of information governance and Data Protection requirements, the relevant legislative and regulatory frameworks and the NHS Data Security & Protection Toolkit.


You will have a track record of working with and influencing a wide range of stakeholders and staff groups and have experience of interpreting and translating complicated and composite initiatives and policies into new practices and policies within a complex and diverse organisation.
