_Overall aim of the role:
_


Our out of this world, Celestial Floatation room boasts a Celestial floatation pool and four individual floatation pools, in which the highly mineralized warm spring water is enriched with 21 essential minerals, which can relieve joint pain, calm the nerves and aid the lymphatic system to eliminate toxins from the body.

Nutrient absorption through the skin reduces conditions such as eczema, psoriasis and acne.

In the Celestial Flotation pool, customers are invited to lie back and gaze up at the sparkling starlit sky. This experience allows the body to float freely and leaves customers feeling completely weightless.


You will introduce customers to the unique experience of the Celestial Floatation pool, Hydro Massage Beds and Mud Rasul, ensuring our customers get the most out of their treatment.

You will also carry out daily operational procedures including pool safety, pool monitoring and pool water quality testing.


You must have a flexible approach to hours of work (which will include evenings, bank holidays and every other weekend, on a 4 week rolling rota) and will share our pride and passion for our amazing facilities.


_What you'll do:
_
The Head Floatation Therapist will lead the team and set an example of high customer service and department standards.

You will ensure the smooth day to day running of the department by working positively and proactively amongst the team to help create a good working environment.


  • Managing the operational aspects of the department and supporting the team where necessary.
  • Ensure the department customer journey expectations are consistently met.
  • Promote a high morale within the team by personally having a positive, cando attitude.
  • Effectively communicate between the Floatation and Management Team utilising Staff Hub where appropriate.
  • Support and assist the Treatment Management team with the development of the department.
  • Promote a culture of high standards of cleanliness within the department. Monitoring daily completion of cleaning tasks.
  • Commit to ensuring treatments are delivered to the highest possible standards by completing regular assessments of team members inductions.
  • Promote and upsell department treatments to ensure high levels of occupancy.
  • Cover any staff shortages ensuring that treatments are not cancelled.
  • Personally achieve monthly retail targets to lead by example, running adhoc incentives, reporting weekly sales figures and motivating the team.
  • Assist with recruitment, training, and inductions for new starters.
  • Be the Health and Safety representative for the department, completing regular checks and ensure the health and safety procedures are always adhered too.
  • Have thorough knowledge of Pool Safety Operation Procedures ensuring these are adhered to by the team.
  • Complete regular refresher training and complete quarterly 1 to 1's for the Floatation Team, offering support to those who need it.
  • Address performance related issues with individual staff members when required.
  • Ensure the team are proactive in quieter times, promoting services, cleaning, and restocking the department.
  • Assist other departments within the spa to work as an overall team.
  • Complete all daily duties of a Spa and Rasul Host (Floatation Therapist).
