The Responsibilities of the Project Manager Will Include:

  • Manage the delivery of Bank projects of various sizes in accordance with the Bank's UK Project Management Procedure.
  • Gather, interpret and document stakeholder requirements and processes through workshops, interviews, storyboards, use cases, processflow maps and other methods.
  • Assist and guide the stakeholders in the development of test approaches and plans.
  • Manage issues and risks ensure these are captured on the central Risk, Assumptions, Issues and Dependencies (RAID) Log. Work with the project teams to formulate mitigations and workarounds facilitate workshops with all parties as necessary. Presentrecommendations to Project Sponsors for review and approval.
  • Work collaboratively with IT and other technical teams to review and ensure that technical solutions meet the business requirements.
  • Preparation of written status updates and presentations/reports on the specified projects for communication to the Project Steering Committees and the Bank UK Project governance committees. Provide clear and precise communications and updates to all stakeholders.
  • Assist the Head of Business Transformation Office in ensuring that all change processes are kept up to update.
  • Promote good, change management principles across the Bank provide individual support where required and guidance documentation.
  • Other tasks as may reasonably be required

The Successful Project Manager Will Have:

  • 3-5 years of project experience within the Financial Services or FinTech industry
  • Experience/knowledge of the UKregulated financial environment
  • Experience of running medium to largesize projects in a small/medium size bank will be a distinct advantage
  • PRINCE II Practitioner desirable
  • Understanding of the change management principles.
  • Experience of preparing project status updates to senior management and the Board.
  • Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills
